How do I place an order in the webshop?
Select your favorite products and add them to your cart. Once you're done shopping, you can easily place your order by clicking "Checkout" in the bottom right corner.
Before you place your order, we'll ensure a quick, easy, and secure checkout . On the right, you'll see an overview of your selected products. Add a discount code or gift card code under your products under "Discount code or gift card." You'll also see the shipping costs (if any) here.
At the checkout we ask for your email address, you can log in if necessary (but this is not required) and select your preferred delivery option. Pickup at our store is always free and usually possible after 2 p.m. during opening hours. Please provide or select the correct shipping address and preferred shipping method so we can send your package correctly. You can select the exact location of your service point after payment.
Enter your address and mobile number (which we'll only use to contact you about your order). And choose your preferred payment method . The billing address can be the same as the shipping address, or you can enter a separate address. Just pay and you're done!
Do I need to log in to place an order?
No, you don't need an account to place an order. You can simply check out as a guest . We do ask for your email address so we can email you the order confirmation and your shipping address so we can send your package. Makes sense, right?
If you have a customer account in the Antwerp store that is used to manage your customer card, or if you created an account through the webshop, you can log in to My Account or during checkout by clicking on "Login" above the email field.
As soon as you enter your email address at checkout and click "log in," our system recognizes that you have a personal account that can be used both in-store and online to earn points and track orders.
If you log in via the My Account icon , you'll receive a 6-digit code in your mailbox and can log in quickly - no hassle with remembering passwords, because life (as a parent) is complicated enough, right?
What are the benefits of an In den Olifant account?
Becoming a member of the In den Olifant Wonder Club has many advantages :
- You can view your current order and also have an overview of all your previous orders . This is useful for warranty purposes or if you need to quickly reorder something.

- You can easily manage your addresses , so you don't have to re-enter everything for your next order.
- You can create a wishlist with favorites, a birthday, birth, or special occasion wishlist, or simply as a reminder for all those lovely toys. You can also share your wishlist with friends and family.
Can I checkout as a guest?
You do not need to have or create an account to place an order.
We do ask for your email address (to send the order confirmation), your phone number (in case we need to contact you about your order), and your shipping address (to ship your package) to complete checkout. Makes sense, right?
Do you already have a customer card in the store but no password?
Is this your first time ordering from the In den Olifant webshop, but you already have an account in the physical store where you can save for a discount on your next purchase?
Enter your email address in My Account and we'll send you an email with a 6-digit verification code . Make sure you use the email address linked to your customer account in our store. Enter the code, and you'll be automatically logged in. You don't need a password (and therefore can never forget it, how cool is that!)
How can I see if a product is in stock?
It's very simple. The product's status is indicated above the "Add to cart" button. If it's green, there's still plenty of stock ; if it's orange, the product is almost sold out but you can still buy it, but we recommend not waiting too long.
If it says "Sold out," the product is (temporarily) out of stock and you can no longer add it to your shopping cart. You can, however, click "Keep me updated," and you'll automatically receive an email when it's back in stock.
Please note! An item may sell out quickly after you receive the notification, as other customers may have requested a notification. If this happens, we recommend subscribing again for a notification.
Also be aware of products like carpets and children's bicycles that are available as long-distance items . These are (sometimes) not in stock in our store and have a longer delivery time because they are shipped directly from our supplier's warehouse. If so, the message "In stock at our supplier, longer delivery time" will appear. In this case, you should expect delivery within 5 to 10 days.
What if my product is out of stock?
Then you don't have to worry right away, because new products are added to our stores daily, and we try to replenish our inventory weekly . Feel free to leave your email address using the "Keep me informed" button, and you'll be the first to receive an email when your item is back in stock .
Delivery times vary by brand. Unfortunately, we can never provide an exact delivery date , but we do our utmost to keep our collections up to date and available, as long as they are available from our suppliers and the makers of the finest toys. Since we consciously choose handmade and often sustainable toys instead of mass production, waiting times may sometimes be longer. But as always in life, patience is usually rewarded.
Is there a minimum order value?
There's no minimum order value at In den Olifant. So you can quickly and easily purchase that favorite product you've been eyeing. We'll show a handy indicator in your shopping cart that lets you know when you can enjoy free shipping . We cover the shipping costs for every order over €75 shipped to Belgium or the Netherlands.
Can I change my order afterwards?
Unfortunately, that's not possible. Once we've received your order, no changes can be made in our logistics process. So please check your order before confirming it. You can return your order after receipt or return it to our store in Antwerp. Read more about returning your order here >
How can I pay?
At In den Olifant you can pay for your purchases with:

- Ideal
- PayPal
Do you have a gift card ? You can, of course, use it to pay for (part of) your order.
Can I pay with an In den Olifant gift card?
Of course, you can also pay online with your In den Olifant gift card. To do so, enter the gift card code from your digital or paper voucher at the checkout page in the "Discount code or gift card" box, located just below your product overview, and click "Apply." The value of your voucher will then be deducted from the total purchase amount.
The amount on the In den Olifant gift card doesn't have to be spent all at once . The amount spent will be deducted from the purchase price. Any remaining balance remains and can be used later.
Do I have to pay immediately for an order collected from the store?
Even with a "Pick up in our store" order, the full amount must be paid immediately. This way, your products are reserved especially for you, and we'll have your order ready for you in our store. Products cannot be reserved without payment.
Good to know: the same return policy applies as for home delivery. If you'd like a different product upon pickup, you can exchange it in-store if there's stock.
Is my online payment secure?
To ensure secure online payments and the safety of your personal data, transaction information is encrypted over the internet using SSL technology . You don't need any special software to pay with SSL. You can recognize a secure SSL connection by the "lock" icon in your browser's checkout when you pay. At In den Olifant, we work with the recognized payment system Viva Payments .
How do I know if my order was successful?
The first thing you'll see after your order is our thank you page on your screen.
We'll then send you an email confirming your order . Didn't receive an email? It might have been lost in your spam folder. So be sure to check your spam filter. You'll also receive a confirmation email when your order is ready in the store or has been shipped . This way, you can track every step of the ordering process, making it even more enjoyable to order online with peace of mind.
Can I receive an invoice for my online purchase?
You can receive an invoice for your online purchase at In den Olifant. This makes it easy to place business orders for your school, company, workplace, or if you're looking for a nice promotional gift.
You can enter your billing address at the bottom of the checkout process. After payment, you'll receive your invoice in a separate email.
Can I order from abroad?
You can order from anywhere in the world , but currently we only deliver to the following countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, and Slovakia.
At checkout, you can enter your international address. On the Shipping and Collection page, under " Can I have my order shipped abroad? " you'll find the exact countries and exceptions. You can also find the rates under " What are the shipping costs?" Our shipping partner is DPD.
If you have a special request regarding shipping to a country not listed, please contact us at info@indenolifant.be and we will see what we can do together.
Can I have my order gift wrapped?
Add our iconic In den Olifant gift wrapping to your order at no extra cost. Simply select "This is a gift" for each product in your shopping cart, and our gift wrappers will know what to do: wrap your gifts with love, just like in our store.
Small note: due to their extra-large size and/or shape, we may not be able to gift-wrap some products for you. We'll do our very best to create beautiful packages, but if we can't, we'll contact you.
Can I also come shopping in person?
Of course! You're welcome to visit our Antwerp store every day, even on Sundays! Our address is Lombardenstraat 12, 2000 Antwerp. We're open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Sundays, you can visit us from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

How can I retrieve my password?
In an ideal world, you'd never forget your password, so we've chosen to work with a system where you don't need a password to log in!
How does that work? You log in using a 6-digit code that we email to you instantly.
