When will my package be shipped?
We do our utmost to ship your order as quickly as possible . We ship every business day . And our shipping partner DPD delivers every business day to your home or a DPD collection point.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination country. Please note the following for packages to Belgium and the Netherlands : If your entire order is in stock and you place your order through our webshop before 10:00 AM , you will receive your package the next business day in 90% of cases . Orders placed after 10:00 AM will be delivered within two business days.
For France : Same, only with a slightly longer delivery time: if your entire order is in stock, the delivery time is approximately 3 to 4 working days .
The track and trace email you receive will help you follow your parcel's journey. We're also available to provide any information you need and will monitor the progress. If we notice anything unusual, we'll contact you. If you'd like to track your progress yourself, download the myDPD app .
Where can I have my package delivered?
When placing your order, you choose your delivery method, right to your home or office door in 14 different countries. If you're rarely home, you can, of course, provide your neighbor's or mother-in-law's address. Or have a package sent directly to someone if it's a gift. It's easy to choose what works best for you.
You can also choose a collection point from the DPD Pickup Parcelshop network. Please note: select "Service Point Delivery" as the shipping method at checkout. After payment is completed, select your preferred collection point . Once your package arrives at the collection point, it will be held for 7 calendar days. After that, it will be returned to the sender.
Can I have my order shipped abroad?
As a Belgian company, we naturally deliver in Belgium, but it is also possible to send your package to the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, and Slovakia.
Shipments abroad are only possible to the mainland, not to overseas destinations that are part of one of Belgium's neighboring countries. There are therefore a few exceptions to the aforementioned destinations.

If you provide a delivery address in another country, we may refuse your order. If you provide a delivery address in an excluded postcode from the list above, we may refuse your order or charge an additional shipping fee.
How long will my parcel be kept at a Pickup parcelshop?
A parcel is held at the DPD collection point for 7 calendar days . After that, the DPD Pickup parcelshop is asked to return the parcel to the sender.
Please note: If you do not collect your package within the stated time and it is returned to us, an additional shipping cost will be charged.
Can I pick up my order myself?
Do you live nearby, or are you planning a day trip to Antwerp? Pick up your package for free at our store, Lombardenstraat 12, 2000 Antwerp, during opening hours. This is usually within 1 to 2 hours and is the most sustainable option, but above all, the fastest way to receive your online order.
When ordering, you can choose "Pick up in our store" at checkout; this option is free. This also saves you on shipping costs and gives you the opportunity to browse our store in person. If you have any questions about your products or purchase, please feel free to ask our team.
I chose "Pick up in our store." How long will it take before I can pick up my order in Antwerp?
If the product is in stock, your order will be ready after 1 p.m. during our opening hours (Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM). If you order in the evening after the store closes, we'll have your order ready for you the next morning.
We'll send you an email once we've collected your items.
Please note: long-distance items are not immediately available in Antwerp, and it will take a few days before we can prepare your order for collection.
Can I receive a product faster than the estimated delivery time?
The fastest way to receive your order is to pick it up at our store in Antwerp, where the item is in stock. You can pick it up within one hour of placing your order during our opening hours, including Sunday afternoons.
What are the shipping costs?
We partner with DPD to deliver your orders. You can choose between home or work delivery, or direct delivery to a pick-up point of your choice near you.
The DPD Home service includes one delivery attempt, including a 1-hour Predict, followed by a neighbor delivery attempt or forwarding to the nearest Pickup parcel shop (same day or at the latest the next business day). The DPD Parcelshop service delivers to a collection point of your choice, always nearby and accessible with extended opening hours and easy access.
Choose from +2,000 Pickup points in the Benelux and more than 70,000 in Europe.

* For some postal codes (remote areas) and islands, an additional shipping surcharge may apply. These exceptions are listed in Article 2.2 of our Terms and Conditions . The cost of this surcharge is determined by our partner DPD. These costs can be requested by email.
Why am I paying shipping costs?
The shipping costs charged are only a portion of the actual costs of processing your order.
From €75 (or €100 for parcels to Luxembourg and Germany or €125 for parcels to France) we can waive these charges, but unfortunately this is not possible for smaller orders.
When you shop online, our team springs into action. They do a little happy dance and make every order a celebration.
This is what you get from us:
- We ship to your specified delivery address. Worry-free for you.
- You don't have to drive around, we'll bring it to you.
- DPD delivers lightning fast. The day after we've packed, our parcel delivery driver will ring your doorbell with your order in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- In reality, the shipping costs for In den Olifant are much higher. We'll cover the difference ourselves.
- Every order is lovingly packaged and gift-wrapped free of charge if you request it. We put a lot of time and effort into this.
How do I know if my package is on its way?
As soon as your order leaves In den Olifant, we'll send you an email to notify you with a Track & Trace code and a link to track your order online.
Tip : Download the myDPD app on your smartphone to set your personal delivery preferences and track the status of all your parcels.
Oops, I want to specify a different shipping address, is that still possible?
You'll receive a tracking code via email, allowing you to check when your package will be delivered. If you're not home when DPD delivers, the DPD driver will leave a note in your mailbox telling you where to collect your package, or they'll send you an email with instructions.
You can adjust your delivery options up to 30 minutes before your package is delivered if you're not home. This includes the following other delivery options: to a neighbor, a safe location, or a collection point. You can easily set this up in advance using the myDPD app . Download it to easily adjust your delivery options when you're not home and to receive push notifications when your package is sent or delivered.
There's something wrong with my delivery. What should I do?
Did you receive the wrong or damaged product? How annoying! 😕 We're working on a solution.
Call us at +32 3 231 61 14 during store hours or send an email to info@indenolifant.be as soon as possible with your name, order number, and the item with a photo of the problem. We'll discuss whether a return is necessary and how to handle it correctly.
If something went wrong with us or with the delivery, we will of course cover the return costs and send you a new product.
