Whether in the big city or a quiet village in the countryside, the yellow vans bearing the three large red letters of the parcel and courier service DHL are always and everywhere. The parcel delivery service was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a cash transport service provider: at that time, the three founders delivered ship's shipping documents and other important documents for shipping from San Francisco to Honolulu. The initials of their surnames formed the company name: Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom , and Robert Lynn .
