Play forever

An eleven-year-old boy roaming through underground parking garages on his bike, scouting for sports cars and their gleaming badges. That is how the story of Playforever begins. That boy was Julian Meagher, and what enchanted him back then is present today in every toy car he designs from London: sleek lines, warm colours, and a shape you cannot stop looking at. His ambition was clear from the start: to create toy vehicles that you do not throw away after one summer, but pass on to the next child. By now, they are driving around in more than twenty countries.

Twenties on the racetrack, sixties in New York

The Playforever models are not copies of existing cars. They were drawn after years of studying classic car design, with the racing cars and racing planes of the 1920s as a starting point and a touch of 1960s New York. This results in toys that look just as good in the nursery as they do on the parents' bookshelf. Each vehicle rolls on soft rubber wheels that are gentle on your parquet flooring, features a UV-resistant finish that will not fade, and is tested according to the strictest international safety standards. Some of the cars are even approved from 1 year of age, which is exceptional for toy cars of this level.

Racing cars, sports cars, and F1

The world of Playforever is built around three families: the Midis, the smaller Minis, and the rugged Mavericks. These include retro racing cars with rounded noses from the golden age of motorsport, streamlined sports cars, sharp F1 bolides, police cars, and occasionally a motorcycle or a plane. They drive happily along the road tracks and traffic signs from our collection, and are listed online alongside all other rolling stock under cars and vehicles. A toddler can push them across the floor for hours, a collector can place one on the shelf with their model cars, which is why such a little car also makes a rewarding birthday gift or birth gift. Choose your model and colour, and in a few clicks we will ensure your favourite races your way.
