Speedy Boy Metal Axel Race Car

Speedy Boy is the smallest racer in Playforever's Speedy range, and perhaps the purest too. No fuss, just a sleek, curved body in metallic blue and yellow that seems to shoot forward, even when it's just sitting on the shelf. For this, the designers looked at race cars from the 1930s, when a car was primarily a beautiful shape on four wheels, and broke the bodywork into smaller panels so that you can see every curve extra clearly.

This mini race car is just a little smaller than the brand's Midi and Classic models, and you notice it right away: it fits perfectly in a child's hand. The youngest simply push it across the floor, while older children set up a rally between the chair legs. Sturdy ABS, soft rubber wheels, and a scratch-resistant high-gloss finish ensure that this vintage toy car withstands all those races without a scratch. Place it next to the Speedy Le Mans in red or yellow and you have your own starting grid.
