Each piece is handcrafted in Germany with love and care, using wood sourced from sustainable domestic forests . The water-based paints are slightly transparent to highlight the wood grain. Ostheimer wooden toys are deliberately left unvarnished to preserve the beauty of the wood, oiled only with organic vegetable oil.
