Twelve small wooden vegetables, each hand-painted in the most beautiful colors and with exquisite details, ready to be harvested, washed, and put into soup. Together, the Veggies from Grapat form an entire vegetable garden that fits on a play table, in a wooden play kitchen, or on a market stall in the playroom.
This is open-ended play as we love to see it from Grapat: handmade from wood, but this time with a recognizable function. Your child can play with them freely, sort them by color or size, use them as building blocks in a fantasy world, and use them to set up a real greengrocer's shop or a soup restaurant. Each vegetable is hand-painted in Grapat's family workshop in the Spanish Pyrenees, meaning no two pieces are exactly identical. These small differences make it real.
The Veggies are great to combine with the Dishes and Bakes from the same series, with a wooden play kitchen, or with dolls and figures you already have at home. This is the kind of toy that children constantly invent new things with, and that lasts for years without ever getting boring.
