Ulrich Wolf is teaching ballet this year. In the Jellycat story, he is the choreographer of a Nutcracker with only Jellycats on stage, and Bartholomew Bear has been practicing his plié for weeks under his strict gaze. Strict, yes, but who cries the loudest after the rehearsal when Amuseables Peanut tries to limbo at the barre? Ulrich.

What you bring into your home is a lying plush wolf about 40 cm long, stretched out on its belly with its front paws forward, like a dog in front of the heater. The fur is grey-brown, around its head is a messy collar and the cream paws have drawn little nails. Because of that low, flat posture, this wolf plush is a cushion to lean against while reading aloud, or a guardian at the foot of the bed. We have seen quite a few plush toys since 1970, and you simply leave this one where it lies after the Christmas holidays.
