The Black and White Bull by Ostheimer is a wonderful addition to your child's collection of wooden animals, immersing all of us in the world of imagination. At 10.5 cm, the black and white bull is one of the sturdiest figures on the farm. He stands wide and low on his legs, with his head forward, and children immediately notice that difference in posture: the cows graze, the bull keeps an eye on the pasture. The black spots are applied by hand, so no two bulls are exactly alike.

Each figure is handmade in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every wooden animal from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece, crafted with much love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to highlight the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
