Each figurine is handcrafted in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every doll from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece made with a lot of love and the necessary care. The water-based colors are slightly transparent to emphasize the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
