Flensted
In 1953, Christian Flensted created his first mobile: three paper storks, as a creative gift for his newborn daughter. That design evolved into Lykkestorke , the beginning of Flensted Mobiles . Since then, the family business has revolved around balance, movement, and Danish craftsmanship, now under the watchful eye of Christian's son, Ole, and his daughter, Christine Flensted: the second and third generations.
Timeless Danish design mobiles since 1953
Mobiles for the world, made in Denmark. Each Flensted mobile is handmade by local artisans in their homes on the Danish island of Funen. The proportions and materials come together and come to life. Each design is timeless, crafted with precision and care from high-quality materials, designed to last for generations. Their gentle movement brings peace and poetry to any interior, from living room to children's room.
Today, Flensted Mobiles hang worldwide: in homes, stylish shops, and even in museums like the MoMA, Guggenheim Museum, and the Tate Gallery. What makes them special? A Flensted mobile is more than just decoration; it's a small universe in perfect balance.
