Angel with star, 2-piece by Ostheimer is beautiful, child-friendly Christmas decoration, handmade and painted. You can feel the quality of the natural wood every time you hold this play figure. This timeless wooden toy is inspired by Waldorf education, which prefers high-quality natural materials and uncluttered toys to let creativity and imagination run free.
This angel is the larger of the two: 27 cm high, and the star is a separate piece. This allows you to place the star in the angel's hands or next to it, which naturally invites children to arrange the scene differently every day. A figure that looks beautiful not only at Christmas.
Each figure is handcrafted in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every doll from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece made with great love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to highlight the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
