Brown Chick by Ostheimer is a tiny piece of farm life for your child's hands. This timeless wooden toy is inspired by Waldorf education, which prefers high-quality natural materials and clear, simple toys to unleash creativity and imagination.

The brown chick has just hatched from its egg and measures barely 2 cm. It is one of the smallest figures in the farm series, just big enough to disappear into a child's hand and reappear next to the hen. The warm brown hue allows the wood grain to show through, making each chick look slightly different from the next.

Each figure is handcrafted in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every figurine from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece made with great love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to emphasize the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
