Filzelefaentle 29 weiss is a white elephant from the German Steiff collection, made of fine wool felt. It stands independently and is washable. This limited edition Steiff elephant was created in honor of Steiff's 140th anniversary in 2020. All pieces from the anniversary collection are limited to 1,880 pieces and bear the special Elefäntle logo, 140 years of Steiff. This white wool felt elephant reveals its sense of originality in both its proudly raised S-shaped torso and decorative saddle cloth. The initials AS document that Anna Steiff received the first elephant as a gift from her sister-in-law, Margarete. The removable blanket is attached by hand with 14 black pins, while black glass eyes make this white elephant's eyes sparkle. What a collector's item!
