Each figurine is handmade in Germany using wood from sustainable domestic forestry . Each figurine in the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece, crafted with love and care. The water-based colors are slightly transparent to emphasize the wood grain, and the figurines are not varnished to preserve the beauty of the wood. The unvarnished figurines are oiled with organic vegetable oil.
