Wooden Figure - Badger Head Forward

The Ostheimer badger is a headstrong, somewhat rugged fellow who prefers to live in densely wooded, hilly landscapes but also comes out of his nest for delightful, imaginative play. Most people haven't met him yet because he prefers to be out and about at night. During the day, he resides in his magnificent burrow, which he painstakingly built, deep in a hill at the edge of the forest.

Each figurine is handmade in Germany using wood from sustainable domestic forestry . Each wooden animal in the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece, crafted with love and care. The water-based colors are slightly transparent to emphasize the wood grain, and the figurines are not varnished to preserve the beauty of the wood. The unvarnished figurines are oiled with organic vegetable oil.
