Blütenkind Ida is a handmade 38 cm dress-up doll from the collection of the German company Nanchen Natur. Her body and clothes are made of organic cotton, the filling is pure organic wool, and her face is hand-painted. Because of this, no two Idas look exactly alike.

Dressing and undressing, taking her to the table, snuggling under the covers: with this soft Waldorf doll, your child can re-enact all the grown-up moments. The facial expression of a Nanchen doll is deliberately kept neutral, allowing room for whatever your child is feeling. This makes this fabric doll a friend on a happy day, and just as much there for a big tear.

Nanchen has been making its dolls by hand in North Hesse since 1983. The range changes deliberately slowly, so a favorite doll can often be reordered years later, and if something does break, Nanchen's doll doctor will fix her up again.
