Why do we like this?
Elegant curves, a long bonnet and that distinctive shape you immediately recognise from the classics at a vintage car show: the wooden Jude car by Le Toy Van is number 2 in the GT range, a collection of fifty wooden toy cars with a nod to the big names in automotive history. An icon in miniature, that fits just as well in a child's hand as on a car enthusiast's desk.
Le Toy Van hand-assembles the GT cars in Surrey, England, from FSC-certified beech and birch wood, using water-based paint. No plastic is used, not even in the packaging, and each box contains a collectible poster. Jude loves racing alongside the classic Tommy and Jack, or parking in the large wooden garage.
