Kitpas

Kitpas is a personal favorite of the In den Olifant team. This small Japanese brand makes the most beautiful chalks from natural and safe materials for endless drawing and coloring on various surfaces , with or without water. Kitpas has been making high-quality chalk materials since 1937. Using a patented process, they reuse shells from the food industry: this makes their chalk stronger, smoother, and more environmentally friendly.

Since 2005, their collection has also included bath crayons or multi-surface art crayons. These bath crayons are colorful, water-soluble, and safe for children. Starting in 2021, they've used rice bran wax as their main ingredient to further enhance both quality and safety.

Kitpas also proudly works with people with intellectual disabilities: approximately 70% of our employees are in this group, and we strive for inclusivity at every level of their production process. The crayons are available in various sets , are richly colored, and can be used to draw on a variety of surfaces, creating endless artwork.
