At 12.5 cm, she stands serenely upright in her long skirt, and only with a group of geese around her does the scene truly come alive. A nice detail for play: the geese scatter in all directions, while she remains steadfast.

Each figure is handmade in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every doll from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece crafted with great love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to highlight the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
