The crocodile lies stretched out and low to the ground, with that typical long snout. Place it halfway into a blue cloth as a river, and the water landscape on the play mat immediately becomes exciting.

Each figure is handcrafted in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every piece from the Ostheimer collection is unique and made with great love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to highlight the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
