Wooden animal - Chick yellow

Yellow Chick by Ostheimer is the smallest chick on the farm and immerses every child in a world of imagination. This timeless wooden toy is inspired by Waldorf education, which prefers high-quality natural materials and simple toys to let creativity and imagination run wild.

The yellow chick is barely 2 cm high and stands with its head held high, as if it could run after the hen at any moment. The soft yellow water-based paint allows the wood grain to remain visible, giving the animal a warm and natural feel. Small enough to travel in a pocket, big enough to play a starring role in farm play.

Each figurine is handcrafted in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Each doll from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece made with much love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to emphasize the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figurines are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
