Dwarf Bodo by Ostheimer is a fairy-tale figure that immediately immerses you in a world full of playfulness and imagination. This timeless wooden toy is inspired by Waldorf education, which prefers high-quality natural materials and clear, simple toys to let creativity and imagination run wild.

Bodo is 7.5 cm tall and wears the red pointed hat and long beard that characterize all Ostheimer dwarves. In stories, dwarves live in forests and underground; they are sociable, love to talk, and are credited with great wisdom. Place him among the trees or near a cave, and the story begins on its own.

Each figure is handcrafted in Germany, using wood from sustainable domestic forestry. Every doll from the Ostheimer collection is a unique piece made with much love and care. The water-based paints are slightly transparent to highlight the wood grain; the play figures are not finished with varnish to keep the beauty of the wood visible. The unpainted figures are oiled with vegetable oil from organic farming.
