You assemble the two-part volcano and make it bubble with sodium bicarbonate and citric acid, and then you use the magnifying glass to study three real rocks: pumice, granite, and basalt. In the second part of the kit, you become a paleontologist and excavate a skeleton, which you then brush clean and reassemble. A homemade lava lamp is also included.
This science kit can easily fill a few rainy afternoons. It contains real chemicals, so perform the experiments together with an adult.
