In the big city or in a quiet village in the countryside: the yellow vans with the three large red letters of parcel and courier service DHL can always be found everywhere. The parcel delivery company was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a service provider for value transport: at the time, the three founders delivered cargo papers from ships and other important documents for shipping from San Francisco to Honolulu. The first letters of their surnames formed the company name: Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom, and Robert Lynn.
