Watch ants live and dig tunnels between plant roots . The ants dig their tunnels in the gel, and above the gel, you can also see how the plants grow. You don't need to water the plants or feed the ants. Everything they need is contained in the gel.

How long do ants live in the Antquarium?

Ants live between 60 days and a year. When you catch or buy them, you don't know how old they are or how long they'll live. On average, our ants last a few months. We sometimes hear enthusiastic stories from people who've kept a group of ants in the gel ant farm for over a year. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee the lifespan of ants, but if all the ants die in the first two weeks, we'll send you a new ant family free of charge (provided the gel has been prepared correctly).

How long does the gel remain a food source for the ants?

Antquarium's gel is a complete food source for ants. Since they don't eat much and even dig up and reuse the gel's waste, they can use it for months to up to a year.
