A round disc with a cross-shaped piece inside: with the Huzzle Cast Hex, you twist that cross free from the outer rim. The movement runs both horizontally and vertically, and it feels surprisingly satisfying under your fingers.
With a level of 3 out of 6, this is a nice mid-range puzzle: challenging enough to make you stop and think, but not so strict that you put it away. The design is by Japanese designer Masumi Ohno. Eureka, the Mechelen-based specialist behind the Huzzle series, keeps the solutions on its website for those who get stuck.
