De SIXI Cube is het werk van Vinco, het pseudoniem van de Tsjechische ontwerper Vaclav Obsivac. Hij heeft naar eigen zeggen altijd al een zwak gehad voor symmetrische vormen in mooi hout, en dat zie je meteen aan deze kubus.
Zolang hij dicht is, lijkt het gewoon een strak blokje met een fijn patroon. Uit elkaar halen lukt met wat geduld. Hem daarna weer sluitend krijgen is een heel ander verhaal, en precies daar begint het plezier.
Eureka maakt de VIP-reeks in rood padoek, zwart walnoot en wit esdoorn, met het verhaal achter het ontwerp op de verpakking. Loop je vast, dan vraag je de oplossing op met de barcode van je doosje.
