Buck began his life as a shoe tree. The designers of Playforever drew inspiration for this race car from the glamour and shoe fashion of the 1960s, and crafted the first model from wood. That simple, pure form was retained when the toy car was later produced in plastic. Buck Roddie is the darkest version: black and red with shiny chrome accents, and with a clear nod to the early race cars of the 1920s and 1930s.

This retro toy car is the third model in the Midi collection, sturdy enough for plenty of racing and beautiful enough for the bookshelf. High-quality ABS, soft rubber wheels and a high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish ensure that this vintage race car will last for years to come. When Buck eventually moves from the playroom to the windowsill, he will simply stand there shining until the next child takes him along again.
